Cookie & Local Storage Policy

Full disclosure of our first-party session tokens, browser `localStorage` keys (`tsr:*`), and Google Consent Mode v2 implementation.

Calcite Prism Pavilions storage architecture
Section §1

Cookie & Client Storage Overview

Treble Spot Reels uses a lightweight combination of strictly necessary HTTP cookies and browser `localStorage` keys to maintain your authenticated session, remember your wax hallmarks (`tsr:claims`), and store your chosen conservatory lighting scene (`tsr:scene`).

In accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, non-essential analytics storage is blocked by default until you express an affirmative choice.

Section §2

Strictly Necessary First-Party Cookies

The table below details the essential HTTP cookies set by our server to maintain patron session state and typography profile continuity:

Cookie Name Provider Purpose Expiry
PHPSESSID / v_scn treblespotreels.com (First-Party) Essential first-party session continuity token used to maintain authenticated patron request state and enforce Account Breaks. Session / 30 Days
ab_variant_name treblespotreels.com (First-Party) Essential interface rendering and typography profile token (`HttpOnly`). 30 Days
Section §3

Browser Local Storage & Session Storage Tokens

In addition to HTTP cookies, our client engine (`assets/js/app.js`) stores the following functional keys directly inside your browser’s `localStorage` and `sessionStorage`:

Storage Key Storage Type Functional Purpose
tsr:claims localStorage Stores the JSON array of harmonic cylinder slugs you have stamped with a Wax Hallmark on this device.
tsr:recent localStorage Stores up to 6 recently inspected cylinder slugs to populate the “Recent” tab of your Conservatory Shelf.
tsr:scene localStorage Remembers your active conservatory lighting scene (`calcite-matinee`, `sienna-parchment`, or `malachite-nocturne`).
tsr:analytics-consent localStorage Records your explicit Google Consent Mode v2 decision (`granted` or `denied`) so the consent banner does not reappear on every page load.
Section §4

Google Consent Mode v2 Architecture

Every page on `treblespotreels.com` initializes Google Consent Mode v2 in the `` with all four storage parameters locked to `denied` prior to any script execution:

window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];
function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}
gtag('consent', 'default', {
  'ad_storage': 'denied',
  'analytics_storage': 'denied',
  'ad_personalization': 'denied',
  'ad_user_data': 'denied',
  'wait_for_update': 520
});

Only if you explicitly click Allow Analytics does our script invoke `gtag('consent', 'update', { 'analytics_storage': 'granted', ... })`.

Section §5

Interactive & Browser Controls

You can inspect or toggle your Consent Mode v2 state at any moment on our interactive Consent Mode v2 Preferences page. You may also clear `localStorage` and cookies directly through your browser’s privacy settings.

Section §6

Policy Updates & Privacy Enquiries

Any updates to our storage keys or cookie inventory will be published on this page. For technical questions regarding our storage architecture, contact privacy@treblespotreels.com.
